Well I finally received my RevAbs package yesterday and after looking through all the material I decided I would do one of the workouts for my workout of the day. I picked Total Strength and Mercy Abs. I'll have to say that Brett is no Tony Horton and the pace is a bit slower than usual. But on the other hand, the concentration on your breathing during the exercises really does help you focus on your Abs/Core area a bit more. In the 60 minutes of workout I have to say, my abs were Rock hard after doing the workout and without question, I was sweating like a pig. :). I plan on starting this program Dec 2 and will follow the 90 day routine to see what type of results I'll get, hoping for the ripped abs like they say, but only time will tell.
Today is my normal rest day from all my workouts, I'll be doing a little cardio at the bowling alley for like 2 1/2 hrs though.
Hope everyone has a great day and has an even better one tomorrow.

Cool Saturday Morning
Good Morning Everyone, It's a nice chilly Morning here in NC and I'm sitting here drinking a nice hot cup of Hazelnut Cream Coffee thinking about the day standing on a ladder painting.. yes painting outside in the middle of November.
Well yesterday was a great day, I signed up my 3rd beachbody coach to my team. The Game Plan is working just like it's supposed to be. Beachbody sure knows how to keep the business going and with such little effort.
Got my One on One Cardio Intervals done last night, nice short 40 minute workout and burned up 742 calories during it too. Today is going to be a long day so I think tonights workout will be the full P90X Yoga X workout, yes 90 minutes of Yoga. :) I really have never been a fan of Yoga but my body is telling me this morning that a good stretch is going to be needed after this weeks workouts.
I hope everyone has a great day and I'll be back tomorrow with more. Thanks for stopping by.

Cold Saturday Morning in NC
Good Morning Everyone, it's a tad bit chilly (34) here in Raleigh today. Going to be a busy day today. I have some handyman work to do for a friend on their house and then plan on spending a couple hours on my Beachbody business looking for people that are wanting to get into shape and make some money at the same time. I have had a great week with my Beachbody business, I signed up my first two personally sponsored coaches and have talked with a few others. The 90 days to diamond process really seems to be working (Thanks Carl) and I hope it continues to grow as the days go bye. On the weekends I usually do my workouts in the early morning but everyone is still asleep in the house and don't want to wake them, so I will be doing P90X Chest/Shoulers and Triceps with Ab/Core plus tonight.

A Little Late
Well I'm posting today on yesterday's dealings. I finally signed up my first Personally Sponsored Beachbody Coach. Using the 90 Days to Diamond and the 3rd party tools is really paying off. Excited about what the next few weeks holds for me.
Last night I kicked up Plyometrics and as Tony Horton puts it, was feeling a little "SPRITE" after that workout so I added in the Shadow Boxing from the One on One Crusher Pack dvd. Finished up that workout, 70 minutes and 1359 calories burned. I would have to say that the Results & Recovery Drink were oh so needed after that, legs were like jello.
It was a nice crisp Friday morning when I headed out for work, coffee cup in hand and expecting to have another great day at work and with my Beachbody business. I'll be headed to the library today to pickup my new book I have on reserve, hoping it's my failing forward book but won't know for sure which it is until I get there.
Weekend plans are to do some Handyman work for a friend on their house replacing some old rotted out wood on the house. No Softball this weekend, next weekend were headed to Myrtle Beach for the final Early College Signing Showcase Tournament.. Last one until next May.
Have a great Friday every that stops by and reads my blog.

Review of Tony Hortons One On One Crusher Pack.
Good Morning everyone, today I'm going to give a little review of the new Tony Horton One on One Volume 2 disk 4 (Crusher Pack). There are three 10 minute workouts on this dvd (Crusher Pack - 20/12, Legs of Gold and Shadow Boxing).
Crusher pack (20/12) - this one involves the floor and pullup bar. Each exercise has 12 reps on the bar then 20 reps on the floor, back and forth for 10 minutes with no breaks. I struggled with one of the bar exercises which was the wide leg in/out/in. But great 10 minutes and really does kill the abs, I'm sore today for sure.
Legs of GOLD - Well I'm sorry but I would have to say LEGS OF JELLO when you finish this one up. My legs were burning after the 2nd exercise in this one.
Shadow Boxing - this is a combination of kenpo, kenpo cardio and jump rope. You start with a minute of jump rope then minute of punching/moving and then back and forth with different thing after jump rope. I really like this one except the jump rope was a little hard after doing Legs of gold.
Overall I would rate this one as another great from Tony. It concentrates on specifics with abs/core, legs and total body in the 30 total minutes your working out. The only thing I suggest is that you warm up prior to putting the dvd in. He starts right up when the dvd gets going. I personally will be adding this workout into my normal weekly routine from now on.
Thanks again Tony Horton for providing another great workout.

November 2nd - Monday Morning
Well Yesterday didn't turn out as planned. I had planned to do a cardio workout in the evening but I just happened to find the couch after dinner and didn't wake up till about the 7th inning of the baseball game... Guess my body was telling me I was tired. Lucky for me I did get my real workout done early yesterday so I didn't feel as bad if I would have missed it all together. Tonights workout will be a mix of abs and cardio intervals of some sort, just not sure which.
I have found some great recipes if anyone is having problems putting together healthy meals or if you find meals you like but they don't provide the Nutritional values. Well I have found that Sparkrecipes.com has all what you need there. I cooked up a Crockpot Southwestern Chicken meal last night and man it was good...
Well today starts my 90 days to Diamond challenge with my team.. I'm really going to push hard to get to that goal. Wish me luck.

Another Rainy Day
Well was supposed to spend another morning in Burlington, NC for a softball tourney with my daughter.. was up at 4:45 and out the door at 5:45, just to drive 45 minutes and then get delayed and then canceled. So was back on the road for the 45 minute ride home... All that was done before 8:10 AM.. UGH.
So This allowed me to get a workout in before noon, I did P90X+ Upper Plus and Ab/Core plus. I decided to do the trainer track and it actually helped with the ab/core workout with concentrating on my breathing and it actually tightened up the abs by a lot... Man Tony Horton is awesome.
Tonight I'm going to be whipping up on some cardio type of workout, just not sure which I want to do... Thinking it's going to be Plyometrics.
Well I hope everyone enjoys the day of Football today and the World Series tonight.

Good Morning Friday
Well yesterday turned out to be one of them kind of days. I had on the books to do Tony Horton's One on One Yoga but ended up having a Doubles Tennis Match, we won the match in two sets but then set out to play 5 more sets. So 4+ hrs of tennis later I finally made it back home. I do have to admit though, even after 4 hrs of tennis I was still ready to go, if it hadn't been 11:00pm when I got home I might have done the Yoga. I still had so much energy and I thank Tony Horton and P90X for that. The guys I was playing with were all crying after 4 sets and myself well.. barely winded and was ready for me.
Today is the day before halloween and should make for an interesting day here at work. Weekend is all planned out here, away from home with my oldest daughter for another College Showcase Softball Tournament, so no handing out candy for me. I now just have to figure out how I'm going to get my workout in Saturday but where there is a will there is a way.
Have a great day everyone and even better tomorrow.

Day 1 week 6 yesterday
Well completed day 1 of week 6 yesterday. Kicked up some Total Body Plus and added in Ab/Core plus and WOW is all I can say. I can see why Tony Horton doesn't put Ab/Core with Total Body, during the down dog crunches in Ab/Core I thought my arms were going to collapse. They were shaking like crazy. I really have missed the Total Body Plus workout though, I haven't had it in this round at all, think It's going to be subbed in a few more times though. I had some improvements too, did a total of 18 pullups during the 3&3's and 22 in the 1&1 exercises, all unassisted too and the elbows didn't bother me that much. I actually found the chin ups easier after doing two weeks with the 40lbs of bands for pullups. woohooo.
Today's Goals: Three Beachbody Exposures and maybe a couple follow ups, still looking to find those few people interested in joining me in Beachbody. I have yet to figure out what people really want I guess. The thought of getting in shape and making money while doing it just hasn't clicked with a few I guess. I'll keep pressing forwards with my fitness and nutrition and wait for them.
Tonight I am supposed to have Yoga but think I'll be pushing that till tomorrow and probably get a cardio Intervals workout in along with a ride.
Back later tonight after my workout, unless something exciting happens today.

Start of Week 6 of p90x/P90x+ Hybrid
Well today starts week 6 of my Hybrid workout program. I will have to admit, I have been changing up the program as I get new videos in. I have been adding Rev Abs, Tony Horton's One on One and the 10 minute workouts. Today's program will be P90X Total Body Plus, haven't done this one in a while but I have a feeling it's going to be a great workout.
On the business side of my world, I have already sent out 4 emails as part of my 90 days to diamond plan. I will work on two face to face exposures today too, wish me luck.

Another beautiful fall morning in NC, temps right around 50 and going to be a great day. Today is the start of Week 2 of Round 3. Today will be some Chest/Back with Ab/Core Plus. I finally received my new tub of Results & Recovery so looking forward to the workout. I have set a goal for over 300 pushups in tonights workout. My last round of Chest/Back I finished with 296 pushups and all with good form unlike day one in march when I did 143 - most from my knees and with horrible form.
Hope everyone that stops by the blog has a great X Day and remembers to keep eating clean and PP. These programs are changing the world for the better and we can only be the examples to help it do it.

Good Morning everyone, well finished up my first week of Round 3 yesterday with some Kenpo Cardio Plus and 40 minutes on the bike trainer. It was a great calorie burn set of workouts. Kenpo (771cals) bike (760cals) for a total of 1531 cals burned in 80 minutes worth of work. My Butt and upper legs are still a bit sore from doing pretty much 3 days of legs but I have to admit it feels so good doing them like this. I have rest day today which might include some X-Stretch but we'll see how time is today.
I also need to rethink my nutrition too.. seems I'm hitting my carbs/proteins but still about 500 calories below my 2600. Looks like I'm going to have to start making some meals that will boost the calorie count but keep my % down for my carbs/fats/proteins. I am also trying hard to stay on the top two tiers of Michi's ladder though.
I found this interesting article about Being Overweight and Diabetes:

Day 5 of Round 3 (hybrid) P90X Done
Hey everyone, well I completed my day 5 last night with some Legs/Back & Ab/Core plus. I have to admit though that I don't think I'll be doing an INSANITY plyo cardio circuit before Legs/Back ever again. Even though I have been doing p90x since March I am so sore today from the Insanity and legs workout, it almost feels like the first week of P90X all over again. I'm not saying this is a bad thing but WOW. It didn't help either that I am out of Results & Recovery, shipped out on Thursday so hoping to see it when I get home today. Tonight I'll be kicking it up with some Kenpo Cardio Plus and then a 45 minute ride on the bike trainer, that should really help the legs loosen up some too.

2 Days till Second Round of P90X with Plus
Well it's Monday morning, still doing workouts everyday waiting for the next round of P90X to start. Did some Core last night, always a great workout. I'm actually excited about starting the next round of P90X with some of the folks from my group. I'm hoping that I can get a few more involved in the program to take the ride with me.
Plan is to get my shopping done for week 1 today or tomorrow, going to try and follow the 2200 cal food program so I can try and drop some more weight during the next 30 days. I was doing about 1500-1700 last round and kinda flat lined a bit on my loss so going to follow the program this time from Beachbody to see if it helps.
If your interested in joining us when we start the next round of P90X please stop by and sign up, it's free to be a beachbody member.

First Phase Finished, looking to start another
Well I finished my first 90 days of P90X on Tuesday, had a great WOWY party with the Group. I am pretty happy with the results for the first 90 days of P90x too. I am now working on my next workout and nutrition schedule so I can continue the Beachbody journey that I started.
I haven't decided which program I am going to do yet, might to P90X+ or look into another to try so that I can become more knowledgeable for when customers ask about which program is best for them to try.
I'm also working on my plan for workouts and diet while on vacation for the two weeks in July while on the Cape. I have the fish already planned out, but it's the meals on the beach that I am worried about. I might have to take my blender with me on this trip so I can continue to have my drinks and smoothies.
well enough for now, check back again when you have time..

2 days to go!!!!!
Well I'm down to 2 days left on my first 90 day journey of P90X. I can't believe how fast the time has gone and the results I have seen. I am still looking to find some people interested in getting Fit with proper nutrition and exercise that might want to join me in this great journey I have been on.
I just found out that the Tony and Folks and Tony and kids have shipped, my 11 yrs old are so looking forward to this workout, not sure how my parents are going to feel about it but we'll just see.. Nice low impact workout for them.
I am going to try and start giving my reviews of the BeachBody programs as I go through them which hopefully will start within the next week, so stand by for that.
I really am thinking about taking a look at insanity when it comes out but what I'm hearing from my upline coaches..... it's hard.
Check back again when you have a chance and keep up to date and remember to KPP.

Day 1 Week 12 Complete
Good Morning, well I finished up day 1 of week 12 last night, what a great workout. I will have to say, not sure what it's going to be like next week this time when I have completed my first 90 days of P90X. I probably won't take much of a break from my workouts though, actually thinking of moving on to doubles with Power90 in the morning and either P90X or P90X+ in the evenings. I have some new dvd's that I plan on reviewing so it might be those in the mix too.
I'm not sure how everyone else is doing with PP or with the new TeamBeachBody site, I know I'm still working out the kinks in getting around the new look Website.
I saw this quote the other day by Sametra Vanison -
I will reach for the stars no matter how hard it seems, and fly like a bird with the knowledge this journey brings.
That actually makes so much sense with the P90X Journey I have been on, probably the best decision I have ever made in my exercise life. I have received better results in this first 80+ days than I have in any other workout I have done.
Have a Great Day and remember to KPP.

The Start of Week 12
Hey Everyone,
Well TeamBeachBody is back up and online, not sure I like the changes to much. Site is a bit hard to get around now and yes I am a computer junkie that works with them everyday. The Threads are hard to search now and when you post to a thread it always takes you to the start of the whole thread. Seems they have lost the option to post pics onto the threads too, even though there are instructions at the top of the main page that state you can.
Today I start Week 12 of P90X, this is my last week of my 90 days and I can't wait till next Wednesday to take some pics and compare to day 1 pics. I'm concentrating more on my eating this week and going to push myself the hardest I have in the past 83 days of P90X.
Just a thought for the Day:
You can do two things... Continue down the path of (Garbage) as I call it or take the other path to being fit and healthy with exercise and healthy eating

The End of Week 11 - first round of P90X
Well today is the end of Week 11 of P90X for me, today is a stretch day before jumping right back into the final week of P90x Workouts. I might have done a little to much the day before with Legs/Back/Abs with the addition of 2.5 hrs of Singles tennis(3 sets). I pushed hard again last night with Kenpo and man getting low in that horse stance is a kicker on the legs and butt.. sore again from being so low while doing them, Stretch will be good today.
On to other topics, I attended my first Independent BeachBody Coaches conference call with teamkahakakino and enjoyed the speakers talking, they provided some valuable information regarding coaching and the goals to help people work towards getting fit and healthy. It was a little late at night (12:00AM) for me but I think I will be attending these every week. I actually really enjoyed listening to people that have had success with BeachBody Coaching and how they went about working their Independent business.
Busy day scheduled for today, have a couple graduations to attend, my youngest two graduate 5th grade and my oldest graduates high school... going to be great day, lets just hope it doesn't rain.
more to come soon.

Another Day on the P90X Journey
Another Day without Beachbody.com or the Threads so I figured I would post some of the happenings from the past couple days.
I have been continuing on my Journey with P90X, almost done with week 11, with one more to go. I continue to see results and with next week being my last week I figure I'll be pushing it the hardest for continued results.
I do have plans to continue to do P90X until a few friends complete their 90 days. We will then move on to P90X+ together. Really looking forward to BRINGING IT with that program.
Since becoming an Independent BeachBody Coach, I have been looking for individuals that would like to join me and work towards striking down Obesity in our country by educating people about Nutrition, Diet and Exercise.
If your interested, please check out http://beachbodycoach.com/esuite/home/GetFitInNC#
If your not part of the BeachBody community you can join and I would love to be your coach to help guide and motivate you through any of the BeachBody Programs.
See everyone real soon, I will post more of my transformation in the near future.
I have been continuing on my Journey with P90X, almost done with week 11, with one more to go. I continue to see results and with next week being my last week I figure I'll be pushing it the hardest for continued results.

The Start of GetFitInNC
Well today is the start of a new BeachBody Coaching Experience. After working hard for 10 weeks and having a few others telling me that I would make a great BeachBody Coach, I decided to take the plunge.
I plan on keeping the blog up to date on my progress, GetFitInNC team once I get one built and where we will be headed in the future.
It will also hold other information regarding workouts, nutrition and the overall health of your body.
Stay tuned for more to come.
