Quick Review of RebAbs

Well I finally received my RevAbs package yesterday and after looking through all the material I decided I would do one of the workouts for my workout of the day. I picked Total Strength and Mercy Abs. I'll have to say that Brett is no Tony Horton and the pace is a bit slower than usual. But on the other hand, the concentration on your breathing during the exercises really does help you focus on your Abs/Core area a bit more. In the 60 minutes of workout I have to say, my abs were Rock hard after doing the workout and without question, I was sweating like a pig. :). I plan on starting this program Dec 2 and will follow the 90 day routine to see what type of results I'll get, hoping for the ripped abs like they say, but only time will tell.

Today is my normal rest day from all my workouts, I'll be doing a little cardio at the bowling alley for like 2 1/2 hrs though.

Hope everyone has a great day and has an even better one tomorrow.

Cool Saturday Morning

Good Morning Everyone, It's a nice chilly Morning here in NC and I'm sitting here drinking a nice hot cup of Hazelnut Cream Coffee thinking about the day standing on a ladder painting.. yes painting outside in the middle of November.

Well yesterday was a great day, I signed up my 3rd beachbody coach to my team. The Game Plan is working just like it's supposed to be. Beachbody sure knows how to keep the business going and with such little effort.

Got my One on One Cardio Intervals done last night, nice short 40 minute workout and burned up 742 calories during it too. Today is going to be a long day so I think tonights workout will be the full P90X Yoga X workout, yes 90 minutes of Yoga. :) I really have never been a fan of Yoga but my body is telling me this morning that a good stretch is going to be needed after this weeks workouts.

I hope everyone has a great day and I'll be back tomorrow with more. Thanks for stopping by.

Cold Saturday Morning in NC

Good Morning Everyone, it's a tad bit chilly (34) here in Raleigh today. Going to be a busy day today. I have some handyman work to do for a friend on their house and then plan on spending a couple hours on my Beachbody business looking for people that are wanting to get into shape and make some money at the same time. I have had a great week with my Beachbody business, I signed up my first two personally sponsored coaches and have talked with a few others. The 90 days to diamond process really seems to be working (Thanks Carl) and I hope it continues to grow as the days go bye. On the weekends I usually do my workouts in the early morning but everyone is still asleep in the house and don't want to wake them, so I will be doing P90X Chest/Shoulers and Triceps with Ab/Core plus tonight.

If your reading this blog and you would like to find out more about Beachbody, check out my Beachbody Coaches page, from there you can get in touch with me.

A Little Late

Well I'm posting today on yesterday's dealings. I finally signed up my first Personally Sponsored Beachbody Coach. Using the 90 Days to Diamond and the 3rd party tools is really paying off. Excited about what the next few weeks holds for me.

Last night I kicked up Plyometrics and as Tony Horton puts it, was feeling a little "SPRITE" after that workout so I added in the Shadow Boxing from the One on One Crusher Pack dvd. Finished up that workout, 70 minutes and 1359 calories burned. I would have to say that the Results & Recovery Drink were oh so needed after that, legs were like jello.

It was a nice crisp Friday morning when I headed out for work, coffee cup in hand and expecting to have another great day at work and with my Beachbody business. I'll be headed to the library today to pickup my new book I have on reserve, hoping it's my failing forward book but won't know for sure which it is until I get there.

Weekend plans are to do some Handyman work for a friend on their house replacing some old rotted out wood on the house. No Softball this weekend, next weekend were headed to Myrtle Beach for the final Early College Signing Showcase Tournament.. Last one until next May.

Have a great Friday every that stops by and reads my blog.

Review of Tony Hortons One On One Crusher Pack.

Good Morning everyone, today I'm going to give a little review of the new Tony Horton One on One Volume 2 disk 4 (Crusher Pack). There are three 10 minute workouts on this dvd (Crusher Pack - 20/12, Legs of Gold and Shadow Boxing).

Crusher pack (20/12) - this one involves the floor and pullup bar. Each exercise has 12 reps on the bar then 20 reps on the floor, back and forth for 10 minutes with no breaks. I struggled with one of the bar exercises which was the wide leg in/out/in. But great 10 minutes and really does kill the abs, I'm sore today for sure.

Legs of GOLD - Well I'm sorry but I would have to say LEGS OF JELLO when you finish this one up. My legs were burning after the 2nd exercise in this one.

Shadow Boxing - this is a combination of kenpo, kenpo cardio and jump rope. You start with a minute of jump rope then minute of punching/moving and then back and forth with different thing after jump rope. I really like this one except the jump rope was a little hard after doing Legs of gold.

Overall I would rate this one as another great from Tony. It concentrates on specifics with abs/core, legs and total body in the 30 total minutes your working out. The only thing I suggest is that you warm up prior to putting the dvd in. He starts right up when the dvd gets going. I personally will be adding this workout into my normal weekly routine from now on.

Thanks again Tony Horton for providing another great workout.

November 2nd - Monday Morning

Well Yesterday didn't turn out as planned. I had planned to do a cardio workout in the evening but I just happened to find the couch after dinner and didn't wake up till about the 7th inning of the baseball game... Guess my body was telling me I was tired. Lucky for me I did get my real workout done early yesterday so I didn't feel as bad if I would have missed it all together. Tonights workout will be a mix of abs and cardio intervals of some sort, just not sure which.

I have found some great recipes if anyone is having problems putting together healthy meals or if you find meals you like but they don't provide the Nutritional values. Well I have found that Sparkrecipes.com has all what you need there. I cooked up a Crockpot Southwestern Chicken meal last night and man it was good...

Well today starts my 90 days to Diamond challenge with my team.. I'm really going to push hard to get to that goal. Wish me luck.

Another Rainy Day

Well was supposed to spend another morning in Burlington, NC for a softball tourney with my daughter.. was up at 4:45 and out the door at 5:45, just to drive 45 minutes and then get delayed and then canceled. So was back on the road for the 45 minute ride home... All that was done before 8:10 AM.. UGH.

So This allowed me to get a workout in before noon, I did P90X+ Upper Plus and Ab/Core plus. I decided to do the trainer track and it actually helped with the ab/core workout with concentrating on my breathing and it actually tightened up the abs by a lot... Man Tony Horton is awesome.

Tonight I'm going to be whipping up on some cardio type of workout, just not sure which I want to do... Thinking it's going to be Plyometrics.

Well I hope everyone enjoys the day of Football today and the World Series tonight.
